Richard grew up in a small Ohio town, the son of a blue-collar steelworker.
He saw firsthand how hard-working families sacrifice for their loved ones—and how important it is to protect the results of that sacrifice. When his grandparents and community faced difficult financial and legal decisions, Richard knew he wanted to be someone who could help.
After serving six years
in the Army National Guard..
including a nine-month tour in Afghanistan where he protected thousands of lives and oversaw mission-critical equipment—Richard carried those same values of integrity, responsibility, and service into his legal career.
He proudly became a
first-generation college-student
He fought through the odds, graduating from Shawnee State University in Accounting and later earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law. Today, he leads Legacy Legal Solutions with the same determination that carried him from a small-town upbringing to the 95th percentile on the Bar Exam.

Richard and his wife Ashleigh live in Delaware, Ohio with their two children, Rhys and Aubree, and their family dog. They built Legacy Legal Solutions as a family-first firm—one where every client is treated like part of the family.
